He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Minnesota Chiropractic Society.
Recognizing the importance of integrating chiropractic care into mainstream medicine, Dr. Cohn has developed a family-focused practice. His practice appeals to multiple generations by meeting the needs of everyone, not just one family member who happens to be in pain. Dr. Cohn's emphasis is on wellness and the long term positive impact chiropractic can have on health throughout every stage of growth and development. He utilizes chiropractic care as a proactive role in preventing injury and supporting health goals by boosting the body's immune system and natural ability to heal itself.
Dr. Cohn works closely with medical doctors when referrals and/or co-management are appropriate. These doctors have found firsthand what years of research has proven: that chiropractic care is often the most effective first line of treatment for neck and back pain as well as a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. The key to successful treatment relies on your doctor realistically appreciating his or her own scope of practice. Most conditions respond very well to chiropractic care. However, if yours is not a chiropractic case, Dr. Cohn is committed to making a prompt referral to the appropriate specialist. He strives to provide a high level of professionalism along with quality, patient-focused care using the most effective, modern, and clinically proven techniques. He designs specific treatment plans unique to the individual needs of each patient. Emphasizing active patient participation and education, his patients tend to heal more quickly and completely, lessening their chance of re-injury.
